Anchor bolts are actually long leg bolts. Why are they called anchor bolts? I believe that many people have questions about how to use anchor bolts and where to use them more.
The following is a summary of the content

How to use anchor bolts
Anchor bolts are usually installed on concrete foundations as embedded parts. Anchor bolts are divided into various shapes according to the foot below. Anchor bolts are divided into four categories: fixed type, movable type, expansion type bolt, and bonded type, and different types of use scenarios are also different. According to the construction relationship of the foundation concrete, there are two types of anchor bolts: direct-buried and rear-buried. There are 7 types, namely L type, 9 type, umbrella handle type, single-head anchor bolts, welded pre-embedded bolts, bottom plate anchor bolts, U-shaped bolts, and anchor bolts.
The material of the anchor bolts is made of different steels according to the different requirements of customers. At present, ordinary round steel Q235 is the most widely used material in construction engineering. There are also stronger Q345 materials, and some customers choose alloy steel 40Cr materials. According to the strength level, it can be divided into 4.8, 6.8, 8.8. High-strength anchor bolts are used for special projects requiring high tension and strength. The surface treatment of anchor bolts is generally natural color, without any anti-corrosion treatment, because most of them are buried in the ground and do not come into contact with the air. There are also anchor bolts that require hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion treatment in other projects. The installation and use methods of anchor bolts are divided into the pre-embedded methods and reserved hole method. Anchor bolts have a wide range of uses and are suitable for the burying and fixing of special equipment such as foundation pre-embedding of steel structure projects, large equipment fixing, street lamp pole fixing, tower crane fixing, and mining equipment fixing.
According to the relationship of foundation concrete construction, the anchor bolts can be buried directly or behind. How do they work?
The direct burial method refers to positioning the anchor bolts before concrete pouring and burying the anchor bolts after concrete pouring. It has the advantages of uniform concrete strength, good integrity and high shear strength; the disadvantage is that the bolts have no fixed support points. Once the bolt is not positioned correctly, it is very troublesome to deal with.
The post-buried method refers to reserving bolt holes during concrete pouring and inserting bolts for secondary pouring after the concrete reaches a certain strength. The advantage of the post-buried method is that the bolt support point is reliable, the positioning is accurate, and it is not easy to make mistakes. Therefore, the construction site generally adopts the direct burial method.
Ningbo Yipianhong Fastener Co., Ltd. was established in 2001, specializing in the production of various types of U-bolts, nuts and screws, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons and an annual turnover of 300 million yuan. Products include ANSI/ASTM, DIN, BS, ISO, GB, JS and other standards, mainly used in U-bolt seals and oil pipeline valves.
